Standard bank Claremont, Cape Town, has an EFT limit of R2000 on the account. Meaning I can't transfer more than the equivalent of £200 out of it per month. This is for my "security". I'm sure I had it raised, but apparently it got reset somewhere along the line. I can raise it by visiting the branch. Is there any way to raise it from the UK here in the meantime? Otherwise, I have to pay stuff from the UK, which takes longer, is more hassle and gets forex charges.
